The cheap greenhouse can be one of many different options. Depending on the budget and space available, there are a few variants of greenhouses available. Consider each one and evaluate it according to your needs and preferences before you purchase.
• Hoop greenhouses are inexpensive and they require no building permits because they are not a fixed structure. These can still hold a lot of plants.
• Covered shelf greenhouses are basically plastic covering that goes over two or three shelves. It simply extends the growing season and is only used with potted plants.
• Box greenhouses are approximately the size of fish tanks. These can be used inside a home to grow small plants.
• Window greenhouse boxes attach to a window and are perfect for growing herbs for cooking or small flowering plants.Overall the plastic version is a cheap greenhouse, simply because plastic is less expensive than glass. Inexpensive can be a very relative term, hence there is quite a spectrum of variants of the cheap greenhouse. Whatever option best suits your budget and available space will allow you to cultivate plants beyond the growing season in your locale.
